Can we live without trees?

No, humans cannot survive long-term without trees. They are essential to life by providing oxygen, filtering breathable air, regulating the climate, and storing carbon. Their removal would trigger catastrophic drought, massive flooding, soil erosion, and the collapse of ecosystems and biodiversity

Can we live without clean water?

Humans cannot survive without water, and lacking clean water is fatal. While a person might survive for 3 to 7 days without any fluids, drinking contaminated water causes severe disease and death. Globally, over 2 billion people lack safe drinking water.

Can we live without other living animals?

No, humans cannot survive long-term without other animals. While we might survive a few weeks, the collapse of ecosystems—specifically the loss of pollinators (bees, insects) and decomposers (worms, microbes)—would stop food production, destroy soil quality, and cause widespread famine and ecological collapse within months.
